The University Concert Series welcomes families to a spring season of imaginative, high-energy performances. The lineup spans global acrobatics, ice skating, youth theatre, live symphonic film and beloved children’s characters from Sesame Street.

Defy Gravity with The Peking Acrobats
The Peking Acrobats will perform on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. in Jesse Auditorium. Celebrating more than 30 years of international acclaim, the acrobats will showcase gravity-defying stunts, precision tumbling, trick-cycling and astonishing feats of balance and flexibility. Accompanied by live traditional music and theatrical effects, the performance unfolds like a vibrant Chinese Carnival for audiences of all ages.
Glide into a Classic with the Wizard of Oz on Ice
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 7 p.m., Wizard of Oz on Ice brings L. Frank Baum’s classic story to life at Jesse Auditorium through professional ice skating, colorful costumes and modern special effects. Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion glide across the stage in a reimagined production designed to captivate both longtime fans and first-time viewers.
Make Your Wish Come True with Cinderella
Young local performers will take center stage with Missoula Children’s Theatre: Cinderella on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Missouri Theatre. The nation’s largest touring children’s theatre will hold open auditions to cast local students. Rehearsals will take place throughout the week, culminating in two public performances. Soar into the Theatre with How to Train Your Dragon and The Missouri Symphony
Film and live music combine in How to Train Your Dragon – In Concert, featuring The Missouri Symphony, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 8 and 9, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the Missouri Theatre. The animated film will be shown in HD while the orchestra performs composer John Powell’s Academy Award®-nominated score live, creating an immersive experience for audiences of all ages.
Step into Sesame Street and Dance with Elmo
Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Got the Moves will come to Jesse Auditorium on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. Elmo and his friends invite families to sing, dance and move along in an interactive show that blends fun, learning and shared laughter.
